Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:30 PM
Fusion is a high energy opportunity for middle and high school students to express their love to God through worship and to be recharged through fellowship and the Word of God. Fusion meets on Wednesday nights.
We begin at 6:00 p.m. with a time to hang out and grab some food (pizza is on sale for $1.00 per slice). We officially get things going at 6:30 with a game or two, some worship, and a message. Then at 7:30 we head to small groups—our small groups are age and gender specific. However once a month we have two Super Groups, one for middle school studetnts and one for high school students with guys and girls together. Small groups wrap up no later than 8:15pm and all students need to be picked up by 8:30.
A major component of the teaching strategy of Fusion is based on 7 Checkpoints from the award-winning book of co-authors Andy Stanley and Stuart Hall, The 7 Checkpoints Curriculum Strategy for Students. It's an intentional, systematic approach to discipleship focused on the content of discipleship. These seven student-specific principles are the irreducible minimum.
We are convinced that every student should understand and embrace these seven basic principles before they leave the safety of their homes and youth ministries. These are the must know—can't be without principles. They're not ALL what's important, but they are what's MOST important for students.
